Hj Syamsul Amri Abd Razak is an MIM – Certified Professional Coach and a HRD Corp Accredited Trainer as well as a certified Basic & Meta-Reflection NLP Practitioner. Graduated with LLB (Hons) from IIUM and MBA from UKM, his valuable experience in corporate world for close to 25 years is being demonstrated in strategic senior leadership positions that he held previously that includes Acting CEO & COO of a public university-owned company, General Manager of public listed-owned company and various functions of advisory engagements in numerous companies and organizations.

Currently, he is the Principal Advisor for UKM-UnipeQ Sdn Bhd, a consulting, accredited lab and training provider company owned by UKM Holdings of UKM. At the same time, being appointed as Mentor for IIUM Alumni Entrepreneurship Wing of IIUM Alumni Relations Division & Associate Trainer for Akademi PKNS, Putra Business School, Malaysia HR Forum, and ABS Digital Media. He is also a Project Consultant for Ainon Business School and Lead Trainer for its Lead Like Muhammad module. He teaches as part-time lecturer at the Faculty of Economics & Management, UKM and Module Developer and Instructor/Assessor for its Sijil Profesional Kepimpinan Integriti (SPKI), a professional certification program jointly organised by UKM and Institut Integriti Malaysia (IIM). He is an author and his first book entitled ‘The Art of Impactful Networking’ was launched during the KL International Book Fair 2023 by the Director of National Book Council, Ministry of Education Malaysia.

In addition, Hj Syamsul is a professional member of Malaysia Institute of Management (MIM), Institute of Marketing Malaysia (IMM), Malaysian Association of Certified Coaches (MACC) and Malaysia Association of Professional Speakers (MAPS). 

Currently he is the Lead Trainer under his own business, SABAR Training & Resources (NS0239563-M), Hj Syamsul has been involved in various Learning & Development programs as Speaker & Trainer for organisations and agencies that include PLUS Malaysia Berhad, Perbadanan Nasional Berhad (PERNAS), Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC), Ministry of Defence Malaysia, Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam Malaysia, Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (PERODUA), Petronas MLNG Sarawak, SALIHIN, Comfori Sdn Bhd, Eastern Steel Sdn Bhd (formerly Perwaja Steel), Razak School of Government (RSOG), Islamic Relief Malaysia, Lembaga Zakat Selangor, Akademi Jawi Malaysia, Persatuan Pengasih Malaysia, International Medical University (IMU), Kolej RISDA, University College Agroscience Malaysia, Politeknik Nilai, Institut Latihan Islam Malaysia, Institut Pemasaran Malaysia, Koperasi UKM-UNIKEB, Koperasi Kakitangan Felcra (M) Bhd, Department of Environment Malaysia, Pejabat Kewangan N.Sembilan, Module Developer/Trainer & Assessor for Pitch2Match for Tunas Usahawan Belia Bumiputera (TUBE) of SME Corporation, Trainer for Malaysian Bioeconomy Corporation and Trainer for various centres in UKM & UIAM.

He is a volunteer with Islamic Relief Malaysia and was the Resident Association Chairman for S3 Damai Impian Bandar Baru Bangi. Currently, Hj Syamsul is the Chairman of Kelab Ibu Bapa & Guru Sekolah Akademi Bakat ABS, a private nature & entrepreneurial school.
